Protein bar brand TODAY Launched about a year ago with great success by the food division of the Shestovitz Company, is launching a new flavored protein bar for the Layers series: a peanut butter-flavored protein bar, coated in excellent milk chocolate.
The new product offers an extremely low protein-to-calorie ratio (high in protein and low in calories), suitable for women and men as a post-workout recovery snack and as a snack during the day - all in a great peanut butter flavor with a caramel cream layer and milk chocolate coating, joining the layer series that includes protein bars in different flavors: salted caramel, cookie cream, cinnamon pie, chocolate chips and banana chocolate chips.
TODAY's Layers series includes rich snacks with three layers coated in premium chocolate, with no added sugar, with nutritional values for a single snack (65 grams): 22-23 grams of protein derived mainly from milk proteins and high-quality WHEY protein, only 200 calories and about 5 grams of dietary fiber.
TODAY's new protein bar was developed over about three years by a development team led by Lilo Buchnik, a clinical dietitian and food technologist, in collaboration with manufacturers specializing in sports nutrition from England and Canada.
Clinical dietitian and food technologist Lilo Buchnik explains: "An important feature of protein bars is the high protein content compared to the low calorie content. At the same time, there are almost no tasty snacks rich in quality protein on the Israeli market.".
Recommended retail price for TODAY from the Layers series: 13.9 shekels per unit. Kosher: Triple K
Available at selected retail and food chains and points of sale throughout the country.
