It will hurt your pocket: Strauss, Terra, Unilever and Coca-Cola announced price increases

After Tenova increases the price of its products: Strauss and Tara announced today (Monday) an increase in the prices of unregulated dairy products.

Strauss has informed retailers of a one and a half percent price increase effective June 3. The company's announcement states: "Following the government's announcement of an increase in the price of regulated dairy products, Strauss announces an update to the price list for retailers. The update will apply to regulated dairy products and related dairy products, which together constitute about half of the dairy products, at a rate of up to 1.5%, and at an average rate of about 1% for all dairy products. The update will come into effect after Shavuot, on June 3, 2025."

Tara also announced a price increase of 2.7% to 3.5% for Muller, Prof and Zuriel Farm cheeses. The price increase will take effect on May 18.

The Coca-Cola Beverage Company also notified retailers of a price update.

The drinks that will increase in price are: Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Fizzy, spring water, Frigate syrup, Carlsberg and Tuborg bottled beers, and all Frigate frozen drinks.

Unilever announced earlier today a price increase of an average of 3.5%, with the maximum increase in product costs being up to 9%.

The company's letter to customers states: "Since November 2022, we have refrained from raising prices on the vast majority of our products," according to it, "despite significant and ongoing increases in production costs in our factories in Israel and in logistics costs."

According to Unilever, its people "are being forced to raise the prices of some of our products, which have not been updated for about two and a half years. We have made an effort to minimize the price increase as much as possible."

It also states that "there will be no change in the prices of chocolate products, ice cream, and most personal and household care products."

The price increase will take effect on May 15.

Jams 778 8%.
Breakfast cereals 8%-9%.
Mustard 9%.
Thelma & Helen's Mayonnaise 8%.
Hellmanns and Knorr 4% sauces.
Knorr Soup 8%.
