A Magen David Adom ambulance team was dispatched tonight (Monday) to treat a patient on Ein Yaakov Street in the Mea Shearim neighborhood in Jerusalem.

However, while the team was providing medical assistance to the patient, the ambulance was vandalized and sprayed with graffiti that read: "National service will kill and not pass.".

The team filed a complaint with the Jerusalem Police.

""MDA views seriously any act of violence and vandalism against MDA property, especially when the team is providing life-saving services," the organization said.

Last April, an MDA team that arrived to perform a coronavirus test on a citizen in the Mea Shearim neighborhood was attacked with stones. One of the paramedics was slightly injured in the head and was taken to the hospital, and the vehicle's windows were shattered.
