In the Beersheba area, Highway 35 was temporarily closed from west to east, in the Ofakim area, Highway 241 was closed to traffic from south to north, and in the Dimona area, Highway 40 was closed in the area of the Masambi junction, from west to east. They have since reopened to traffic. However, Highway 232 from Magen to Ra'im and Highway 234 are still closed to traffic. Large forces from the Southern Police District are deployed in the area.
