Private supervision: A three-year-old boy fell from the third floor of a building in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn last night (Sunday), landing on soft ground - and was slightly injured. At 6:30 in the morning, the boy's parents were awakened by screams. It turns out that the two children, ages 5 and 3, had gotten up from their sleep and were playing. At one point, the older one went to the emergency exit window and managed to open it. The younger one crawled through the window and fell down the stairs to the ground. According to CrownHeights.info, the window must meet American standards for ease of opening, which meant that the five-year-old boy was able to open it without difficulty. Crown Heights rescue workers evacuated him to the hospital, where it turned out that the boy had suffered minor internal injuries. According to his doctors, he is expected to recover and leave the hospital unharmed.
