The police received a report at noon (Monday) of a shooting at a 16-year-old Lod resident, who was evacuated to the medical center in serious condition, according to medical officials.
An initial investigation indicates that the incident was motivated by blood feuds over an ongoing conflict.
Central District police officers from the Shefelah area and the Lod station are working at the scene as part of an investigation that has been opened, and in the hunt for the suspects in the act.
