Shai Wiener Returning for the wedding season with a new single - and this time it's much more than a single.
""Wings of the Divine Presence"" It is a song born from the depths of real life: mourning, healing, and the encounter between a broken soul and a holy and pure veil.
About a year ago, a Jewish family was struck by tragedy: a young son suffocated and died at the nanny's. The family's eldest daughter, who had raised her little brother as a second mother, broke down. The grief did not leave her – until she found solace in the poems of Shai Wiener.
When her wedding day arrived, her father turned to Shai Wiener with a rare request: to attend her wedding and enter the wedding in song.
Shai and his father didn't hesitate. "We have a wedding song that we're waiting for the right moment for," they said - and that was the moment. The bride knew nothing; it was a complete surprise. And Shai sang "Wings of the Divine Presence" there, under the wedding canopy.
Channel 13 also came to document the moving event, and the footage captured the moment when Shai sang under the canopy.
The official music video for the song is essentially that same live recording: one camera, one shot, and an emotion that cannot be faked. The recording and photography were done with full written permission from the groom and the bride. Everything you see is real.
""Wings of the Shekhinah" was written by Rami Lev and Noam Lev. Rami, who has written many Israeli hits, was the "first to recognize" and has previously written several hits for Shai. This is a wedding song that talks about two souls meeting, about ten steps to a white wedding, about God's blessing and the "Amen" prayer that all the wishes of the heart will come true.
Shai adds a deep emotional dimension to a song that was created to move and comfort.
After "My Lighthouse," "Give Me" and "Come Peace" - "Wings of the Shekhinah" marks a milestone: Shai Wiener steps off the stage and enters the heart.
