Yaron Avraham, Channel 12's political correspondent, is a father of three children - with a very warm attitude towards tradition.
On Friday, he posted a photo on his Instagram account from his daughter's siddur reception party, alongside his wife Yael - and wrote: "May there always be someone who will listen to your prayers.".
The followers who were moved by the photo responded accordingly.
One surfer wrote: "A sweet family, may all your prayers be answered." Another surfer responded: "May God bless you, an amazing family.".
Her colleague from the channel, presenter Adi Zarifi, also responded: "Amen, charming.".
A few months ago, Avraham supported a post he published about a program to integrate Judaism into the education system. "I saw that the Minister of Education wants to include in the list of educational programs from which school principals will choose the integration of Jewish rituals, piyutim, Jewish studies, and the establishment of a garden to grow the seven species, and even the operation of a beit midrash in the school. My opinion: Well done.
""You don't have to run away from a bit of tradition and identity, and 'religion' is certainly not it. Most children join the army knowing more about Islam than Judaism. Why? An excellent decision.".
Avraham addressed questions from surfers and added: "I knew more about Islam than Judaism before I enlisted. Much more even. I want my children with a deep connection to their roots and I'm really not going to apologize for that. There's a place for everything: piyyut and hi-tech, the weekly portion and democracy. It's not either-or, it's both and both.".
