Nadav Cohen is considered a surprising discovery: the previous singles he brought to the public are considered successful hits and are frequently played on radio stations ("Talk to Me," "The Moment of the Canopy," "Green Plots"), and now he offers his fans his personal version of the hit "Ana Eli.".
Cohen, 35, lives in the settlement of Yad Binyamin, and sings and brings joy to celebrations and events. The musical germ has been thriving for many years, and Cohen writes for the drawer and occasionally records on his way to his debut album, which will be called A Source of Joy.
""Over the years," says Nadav, "at different points in time and at intersections that life invites me to, I try to condense my thoughts into songs, happy, sad, and sometimes uplifting. Nati Levy, whom I greatly admire, created the song 'Ana Eli', which I consider to be a modern prayer that speaks to every Jew." Nadav performs this song at many weddings, and his audience pushed him to record his personal cover version.
The upcoming album includes new and original songs, written by Nadav and his wife, Maayan Cohen, as well as an exciting reworking of two well-known songs, one of which is attached herewith - Ana Eli.
