According to the friends, on Friday afternoon, the outgoing 12th Battalion commander had a conversation with the battalion's soldiers. During the conversation, the battalion commander noticed the patch the soldier was wearing and asked him to remove it immediately.
The soldier complied with the request and immediately removed the patch, but a few hours later it was decided to remove him from Lebanon during the Sabbath. .
