National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir was asked today (Wednesday), in an interview he gave to Shimon Riklin on Channel 14, about the saga of David Zini's appointment as head of the Shin Bet - and replied that this should be a "world war" for the government.

""I hope, this must be our world war. Our world war, we must not give up. If the government cannot appoint the head of the Shin Bet, then who can we appoint?", the minister wondered. "An IDF general, a gunner, a professional, I don't know him personally, but everyone who talks to me about him praises him from now until further notice, he must be appointed.".
Regarding Operation 'Am Kalavi', he said: "The Prime Minister demonstrated courage and leadership, however, it was possible to achieve more.".
On the war in Gaza: "There are still thousands of Hamas members - they need to be removed and immigration encouraged. Iran's excuse is over, now we need to act.".
