On Wednesday afternoon, during the Iranian barrage, a call was received about interception fragments falling in the Ramat Vizhnitz neighborhood in Haifa.
As a result, and given the conditions of the entrance roads to the neighborhood, the place was besieged for over four hours.
Residents were shocked by the situation, when during the busy afternoon hours, they were unable to leave or enter the neighborhood, which caused many people who wanted to leave or enter the area to return to their place of origin.
The residents were outraged: "It is impossible for a Hasidic neighborhood with thousands of families to have such poor access conditions, when in emergencies the place is blocked from entry and exit for such a long time. It is impossible for there to be no access to the place for over four hours.".
""Thousands of families were simply surrounded during rush hours. We call for proper regulation of entry and exit to the neighborhood so that, God forbid, we don't see these sights again.".

City Council member Avraham Stern said that this is a wake-up call for decision-makers: "I don't want to imagine what would happen if, God forbid, there was an emergency that required entering or leaving the neighborhood. It's simply a matter of saving lives. I call on those involved to get into the thick of things and bring a solution to the neighborhoods that are trapped in Ramat Hasidism.".
