Starting Monday, Israeli airlines will be allowed to operate flights departing from Israel.
According to the outline approved by all authorized entities, subject to severe security and safety restrictions, the number of passengers on each flight will be limited to only 50 for the time being.
However, a traveler who is leaving now will only be able to purchase a return flight ticket to Israel for a date that is at least 30 days away, out of a desire to provide a solution on return flights to Israel primarily to the many citizens who went abroad before the start of Operation 'With a Dog' - and are waiting to return to Israel.
Airlines have opened a special registration for departing flights on their websites, in accordance with the aforementioned guidelines and restrictions.
Ticket purchases are open to all applicants and without passenger preference. Priority will be given to life-saving, humanitarian, and national security cases.
The outline was formulated as part of Operation 'Am Kalavi' and subject to considerations by security officials.
