Comedian and actor Zion Baruch criticized Israeli news channels last night (Wednesday) following the publication of mandate polls during Operation "With a Dog" against Iran.

Baruch wrote: "Why are the news channels doing a mandate poll now? Is it so hard for them that we are united again? Give the people an air of victory and unity.".

His comments come after a poll was published last night on one of the channels against the backdrop of the war in Iran.

Political commentator Amit Segal explained last night why Channel 12 did not publish polls this week: "Our polls are conducted regularly according to fixed rules, about once every two to three weeks. We do not conduct polls at the beginning of wars. There are conspiracies that are not surveyed because they want to help Netanyahu. The simple truth is that there is no point in conducting polls now for a number of reasons - one of them is patriotic - in a time of war, there is no polling in the consensus.".
