
Central District police arrested a minor resident of the ultra-Orthodox city of Elad last night (Wednesday) on suspicion of stabbing another boy in a pizzeria in the city.
The arrest was made after Rosh HaAyin police officers began searching last night after receiving a report of a stabbing incident in Elad.
According to medical sources, as a result of the stabbing, a 17-year-old boy was moderately injured and was taken to the Beilinson Medical Center in Petah Tikva.
After accelerated scans carried out by the station's police officers, in cooperation with investigators from the technological scene, the police located the suspect - a 15-year-old boy, a resident of the city, and arrested him for questioning, after which he was imprisoned.
This morning, the police will ask the court to extend his detention.
