According to a report on Channel 12's "Savings Plan," when buyers of a project being carried out by the contractor called him in light of the delay and the financial damage they had suffered, he replied: "Tell me, aren't you ashamed? I don't care, there's a war too, where is the road to land?"'
Another buyer in the project asked Oded if he could fully commit to keeping all his promises, and Shariki replied: "Sure, what is fully committed? In front of them too, put me in front of those dogs over there.".
He explained the delay: "The whole country is late because of the war" - and added about the tenants themselves: "If you were to buy from another company, who would answer to you anyway? What landlord would answer to you? Who are you anyway? Go, go, Kibinimt.".
The construction industry is indeed facing many difficulties because of the war, such as the decrease in manpower, although after the developments, Ricky claims to have completed the construction and the one delaying the delivery of the apartments is the Bnei Brak municipality.
The buyers contacted the municipality with the claims made by Shreki, but the deputy mayor responded: "He's scheming with you. All the show you've put on here, that's what he wants to profit from.".
Now that moving into the apartments is finally near, the buyers are still wondering who will compensate them for the many months during which they suffered financial losses.
Oded Shriki's response from 'Arazi Negev', as provided to Channel 12: "Despite all the limitations and constraints, over 1,000 apartments in the project have already been delivered. In fact, the plot in question is the last of the plots that has not yet been occupied, and a Form 4 was recently received for it, which will allow for the delivery to begin soon.".
Bnei Brak Municipality's response: "Unfortunately, Form 4 for buildings was delayed due to the contractor's failure to complete the required work. Any attempt to shift blame onto the municipality is wrong.".
