Charges will be filed against a 35-year-old Bnei Brak resident who committed a serious act against a 6-year-old child in a building yard.

Crime in Bnei Brak: Bnei Brak police arrested a 35-year-old Bnei Brak resident on suspicion of committing a serious act against a child in the city.

The investigation was concluded and a prosecutor's statement was filed.

The arrest was made after investigators at the Bnei Brak police station opened an investigation on May 29, upon receiving a complaint of suspicion of a serious act committed against a 6-year-old child in Bnei Brak.

According to the investigation, the suspect entered a residential building on Sokolov Street. When he noticed children playing in the yard of the building, he approached the two and tried to talk to them. The girl fled the scene, while he committed a serious act against the 6-year-old boy and fled the scene.

The next day, the suspect, 35 years old, a resident of Bnei Brak, was located and arrested for questioning, at the end of which he was imprisoned and his detention was extended from time to time.

Upon completion of the investigation yesterday, a prosecutor's statement was filed.

The suspect's detention has been extended by five days, until June 11, and the prosecution intends to file an indictment against him.
