The Ministry of Jerusalem and Jewish Tradition publishes the times and dates of the lighting stations, as outlined by Minister Rabbi Meir Porush, who is responsible for the Rashi celebration in Meron, to spread the lighting hours and locations throughout the Meron Atara Kadisha. This is "with the aim of spreading the crowd that comes to the altar in the various areas, all of which have been significantly enlarged and undergone significant improvements in terms of safety, in order to prevent cases of pressure and crowding, which already led in 2011 to the terrible disaster that we all remember.".
The Ministry of Jerusalem and Jewish Tradition reminds us that "everyone must be careful not to stay at the Etra Kadisha in Meron beyond the allotted five hours - and preferably one hour earlier, so as not to be indebted to the latter, God forbid, and not to create a situation where other Jews are prevented from also participating in the Rashbi's celebration with prayer, joy and safety.".
