Today (Thursday), fighter jets attacked an underground site in the Beaufort Ridge area of ​​southern Lebanon that was used to manage the fire and defense systems of the terrorist organization Hezbollah.

According to the IDF, this site is part of a significant underground project that was taken out of use following IDF attacks. The IDF emphasized that the existence of the site and the activity therein constitutes a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.

In Lebanon, a widespread wave of IDF attacks was reported at noon in the south of the country. 

An Israeli security source quoted on the Saudi Al-Hadath channel said: "The Air Force attacked a Hezbollah military compound in Nabatiya that included tunnels, weapons and anti-tank missiles.".

According to the report in Lebanon, the IDF carried out more than 20 attacks. A security source who commented on the attacks said that these were "extensive attacks on a significant target.".

In documents from Lebanon, smoke plumes are visible in areas that were attacked.
