Justice Minister Yariv Levin today (Tuesday), in an interview with Gale Israel Radio, made serious accusations against Channel 14 commentator Yaakov Bardugo, claiming that he threatened him - in order to influence his decisions.

Levin described: "A person comes to me and makes personal demands on me that no decent person would agree to accept - and tells me 'if you don't meet the demands,' I don't even want to use the word he used in relation to what he intends to do in my affairs.".
He added: "This is not an accusation, but a simple truth. I was elected by the public to serve the public. I say difficult and sad things from the position of a person who has struggled all his life. I have never deviated from the path, even when I was almost alone and when it was difficult. There is no chance that they will move me from my path and the pressures that are exerted on me are enormous.".
He emphasized: "When a person comes and systematically and obsessively slanders me from every platform and every day, in a way that has nothing to do with anything, it only helps one person: the one who calls himself the President of the Supreme Court. That's exactly what he wants, to weaken me from within.".
It should be noted that Bardugo hosts a daily program on Gali Israel Radio.
Levin is not the only minister to make allegations against the commentator. About two months ago, Kan News reported that Communications Minister Shlomo Karai also made similar allegations against Bardugo in a closed conversation. According to the minister, the advisor made personal demands for senior positions and when he was refused, Karai claims, he launched a campaign against him.
According to Minister Kari in the conversation, he refused the demands due to the existing restrictions and due to his approach to maintaining a free communications market in Israel.
