The deceased, zt"l, was born on Tishrei 29, 1964 in Bnei Brak to his father, the late Rabbi Shalom Yehuda Leib Ginzburg, z"l, and his mother, Mrs. Golda, a.h.
In his youth, he studied at the Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva in Kfar Chabad, and in 1983 he traveled to study at the Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva in the courtyard of the Lubavitcher Rebbe at the Chabad World Center - 770, as part of the 'Group Year'.

Upon reaching his term, he married his wife, Mrs. Hannah, daughter of Rabbi Aharon Mordechai Silberstrom of Jerusalem. After his term, he was asked by Rabbi Jeremiah Yehuda Leib Schildkreutz to come and act as a Chabad emissary in Haifa, and after receiving the Rebbe's consent and blessing, he arrived in the city in Cheshvan 5788.
His activities began with the founding of a Chabad house in the Hadar neighborhood, and after six months he settled in Kiryat Sprinzak, and was appointed rabbi of the Heichal Hana synagogue. At the same time, he continued to serve as a messenger in the Hadar neighborhood and the director of Chabad activity in the entire city.
Over the years, the city has appointed more than 25 shluhim who manage Chabad houses in various neighborhoods of the city.
In 2002, he began operating a 'Beit HaTavshil' in the city, where dozens of needy people dine every day. In 2007, he received the 'Magen Kavod' medal from Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav.
