As you may recall, during the press conference presenting the conclusions of the Sheshinsky Committee, about two weeks ago, Lapid appeared with a beard adorning his face. Last Saturday, he explained the move to journalist Yoav Krakowsky: "After budget night, I went on vacation with my family, in preparation for my son Lior's enlistment in the IDF. I decided to give my face a rest as well. On the way back, Lihi told me that she thought it was nice, so I kept the beard.".
But in an edition of the Walla website, they checked and found that within about a week - from the time he was interviewed for the website until yesterday at the opening of the winter session - Lapid's hair and beard had turned white quite quickly.
