Fighting the cost of living and joining forces: Rishon LeZion wore a holiday this week with the inauguration of the 'Super HaTsinor' in the city, near the City Garden complex.

The social enterprise, led by 'Kollel Chabad' in collaboration with journalist Guy Lerer's 'The Pipe' program, is designed to combat the cost of living and offer residents quality products at extremely low prices - without profit.

The festive event was held in the presence of Mayor Raz Kinstlich, Guy Lerer, public relations activist Yosef Haddad, and representatives of the Chabad Cholera, who highlighted the shared commitment to providing relief to the city's residents during a challenging economic period.

''Super HaTsinor' in Rishon LeZion is a direct continuation of the consumer revolution that began with the first branch in Be'er Sheva, after an early attempt in Tel Aviv a year earlier.

The supermarket, which covers 200 square meters, offers a wide range of products - from legumes and canned goods, through fruits and vegetables, to dairy and frozen products - at market-beating prices.

On opening day, special offers were offered, such as a pack of diapers for NIS 9.90, canola oil for NIS 6, and paper towels for NIS 8, which attracted a large crowd who wanted to take advantage of the immediate savings.

""We are here to show that it is possible to live differently," said the director of the 'Kollel', Rabbi Mendi Blau, at the opening ceremony. "With a wise purchase at this supermarket, families can save thousands of shekels a month. It is a great privilege for us to bring such news to the residents. We thank the Renner family for their kind assistance in renovating and equipping the place.".

The partnership with Guy Lehrer, who signed the agreement to establish the branch months ago, ensures that the project not only remains true to the values of charity, but also receives broad media exposure that increases its impact.

Mayor Raz Kinstlich praised the initiative: "The opening of the 'Pipe Supermarket' in Rishon LeZion is a significant step in the fight against the cost of living. I am proud that Chabad and Guy Lerer have chosen our city to continue this revolution, which improves the quality of life of residents.".

Guy Lehrer, who served as a symbolic cashier on opening day alongside Yosef Haddad, added with excitement: "They will continue to raise prices, and we will continue to fight for you. This is the people's sofar, and Mekel Chabad are the perfect partners to realize this vision.".

The supermarket is open Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Fridays until 2:00 PM, and offers free parking in the winery parking lot for purchases over 100 NIS.

Residents who attended the event shared enthusiastically: "This is life-changing," said a city resident. "Finally, someone is thinking about us, and Chabad is showing that it's not just business - it's real help.".

With plans for further expansion across the country, 'The Pipe Writer' in Rishon LeZion marks a new era of consumer solidarity - all thanks to the special combination of a vision of aid and kindness with a determined journalistic struggle.
