After the holiday, Rebbetzin Bila Horwitz passed away at the hospital in Tel Hashomer, at the age of 87.
The deceased, may God bless her soul, is the daughter of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Friedman, zt"l Gab”d of Rakhov, and the wife of the Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Mendel Horowitz of Rakhov, Bnei Brak.
She left behind three sons and two daughters, who live in Manchester and London, and dozens of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who follow in her footsteps. One of her daughters is married to the rabbi Yosef Binyamin Wasner, Av Beit Din of Satmar London.
On Holy Saturday, she collapsed after suffering a stroke and was hospitalized.
Her grandchildren from abroad, who are staying in Israel and celebrating Yom Tov, the second day of the year, did not travel to the funeral, which went to the Mount of Olives, where she was buried.
Her grandchildren say that her prayers were in vain, and that she remembered the names of all her descendants in order to pray for them all.
Sitting 'Shivaa' in her home on 2 Rabinu Tam Street in Bnei Brak.
