Communications Minister Shlomo Karai responded this evening (Tuesday) to the Shin Bet's investigation into the October 7th blunder, attacking the failed Shin Bet head Ronen Bar - and demanding his dismissal as early as this coming Sunday.
Kari wrote on his Twitter account, alongside a cartoon: "'The hat is burning on the thief's head' - the one who knew how to send a Tequila team on the night of October 7th to the Gaza Strip because he realized something bad was happening, but abandoned the IDF soldiers and the residents of the Strip to their fate, thinking he would divert attention from his shortcomings if he blackmailed us with threats.".
He added: "We will not allow those who remained silent in the face of the terrible refusal, who fell asleep, who abandoned, who committed a crime, to have any influence whatsoever on the security future of the State of Israel. I call on the Prime Minister to bring his dismissal to the government as early as this coming Sunday.".
