Tragedy: A 28-year-old Jewish man from Ponevezh, a father of 4, did not get up from his sleep this morning

Tragedy in Bnei Brak: Tonight (Sunday), the late Rabbi Chaim Noach Lesitsin, from the Ponivez Kollel in Bnei Brak, passed away at the age of 28 - after not waking up this morning.

Rescue forces called to his home on Yoel Street in Bnei Brak were forced, to the regret of his family and friends, to declare him dead after resuscitation efforts.

The late Rabbi Zvi Yaakov Lisitsin was born in Bnei Brak on the 1st of Av 5756 to his father, the late Rabbi Yosef Shlomo Lisitsin, head of the 'Moresha Ve'daat' kollel and rabbi of the 'Beit Midrash Elyon' yeshiva - the son of the late Rabbi Zvi Yaakov Lisitsin, head of the 'Heichal Talmud' kollel, and to his mother, Mrs. Tzirel, daughter of Rabbi Chaim Noah Cohen, of Bnei Brak.

As a child, he studied at the Talmud Torah Tashbar in Bnei Brak, and later at the Ponivez Yeshiva for young people. In the large yeshiva, he studied at the Ponivez Yeshiva.

When he reached his peak, he married his wife, the daughter of Rabbi Elyakim Getzil Goldwasser, son of the late Rabbi Yitzhak Pinchas Goldwasser, the superintendent of the 'Or Yisrael' yeshiva.

After his marriage, he studied Talmud at the Ponevezh Kolel.

He left behind his parents, his wife, and four young orphans.

His funeral will leave at 1:00 PM from the Ponevezh Kollel on Rabad Street in the city, to the Beit HaChaim El-Ad.
