Singer and songwriter Idan Amid published on his Instagram account today (Sunday) documentation from his rehabilitation period - after the serious injury in the Gaza Strip, and asked to thank the rehabilitator who treated him throughout the period.

He thanked Irit Smilansky, his rehabilitator, in a post, whom he had known since the filming of the series 'Fauda'.

""I came to her after a stunt in Fauda that went wrong and required knee rehabilitation that at the time seemed challenging," he wrote. "As mentioned, life is a matter of perspective. From the moment I regained consciousness in intensive care until this moment, I had the best rehab of all. Mainly thanks to the understanding that a combat injury is not just a physical matter. It is a Sisyphean process. Not linear. Full of ups and downs, full of ups and downs.".

He added: "Understanding the wounded person's soul. What spurs them to get up every morning and choose life is an integral part of the process, and Irit, along with her endless professional knowledge, also had the heart and sensitivity to understand what the situation was at every moment. When to stop. But also when not to hinder me from running forward despite the fear and pain.".

About the injury, Amadi wrote: "A year after she received me with shrapnel and fractures all over my body, I feel like the big physical event is behind me. There's still something to fix. We're not saying goodbye yet. But this is a good opportunity to say thank you.".

He signed: "This album is also yours, and so is every ticket purchased for the concert, and it should be written here for all to see. Thank you for the gratuitous kindness.".
