During the winter in Russia, and in Moscow in particular, the sun only rises around 9 a.m., which leads to the children leaving their homes for school in 'Kheidar' wrapped in warm layers, surrounded by darkness - and even when they return home, they encounter night, since school ends about an hour after sunset. The road to school and back home is accompanied by intense cold. These short days, compared to the long days of summer, create a sense of anticipation for the light. A few days ago, in the relatively pleasant weather, photographer Levi Nazarov managed to capture these special moments with his lens, when the students arrive with joy and high energy at the 'Heder Menachem' Torah Talmud in the Marina Roshcha neighborhood. They enter the educational institution, full of joy, and it is obvious that they are ready for hours of learning and enrichment. The educational staff accompanies them throughout the day, with most breaks taking place within the walls of the institution, because the weather outside usually does not allow it. In parallel with the TAT, many luxurious educational institutions operate in Moscow, from daycare centers and kindergartens to yeshivas, kollels, and academic institutions. [Gallery]
