Daring rescue of trapped people from a fire that broke out in a building: This evening (Tuesday), at around 8:30 PM, a fire broke out in an apartment in a 4-story building on Zvi Hertz Street in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem. Four fire and rescue teams from stations across the nation were dispatched to the scene. The firefighters, who arrived at the building in a short time, identified a fully developed fire in one of the apartments on the first floor. As a result of the fire and smoke, many residents, including small children and infants, were trapped in the heavy smoke on the floors above the fire. The firefighters entered the fire and smoke, rescued the trapped residents, and conducted scans to rule out additional trapped people, while extinguishing the fire. As a result of the fire, a baby girl, a woman aged about 30, and her daughter aged about 2 were injured, and they were evacuated to the hospital in minor condition. As a result of the fire, many residents were trapped in the heavy smoke, and they were rescued by firefighters from the building unharmed. "In addition, a woman and her child suffered minor burns, apparently after a heater fell on them, and they were evacuated to the hospital.".
