In Modi'in Illit, the new and luxurious offices of the accounting firm BDO were inaugurated last night (Sunday), which employs dozens of Haredi women in Modi'in Illit alone - and hundreds of Haredi women throughout the country.
The BDO firm is one of the leading firms in Israel, and its Haredi branch has been considered a very important employer of Haredi women for many years.
The renovated branch in the Modi'in Illit business center, managed by CPA Farah Greenberg, joins the luxurious office that was inaugurated several years ago in Bnei Brak, and is a symbol and example of the ability to integrate Haredi women into the top ranks of Israeli employment, with adequate pay and maximum conditions - all while strictly adhering to the rules of halakhah and lifestyle.
The event was opened by CPA Yoel Toledano, head of the Haredi cluster and head of the non-profit sector, who reviewed the company's activities with the Haredi sector over many years, with compliments from all sides that share great satisfaction from both customers and employees.
CPA Shahar Ziv, co-CEO of the firm, spoke about the great success in bringing about coexistence between the sectors in Israel, especially during a complex period. CPA Erez Sofer, co-CEO, noted the importance that the firm sees in the Haredi sector, with all that this implies.
The rabbi of Modi'in, Rabbi Eliyahu Elharar, spoke passionately about the firm's ability to give working Haredi women the best feeling, without any discrimination against workers in the general sector.
The rabbi of Brachfeld, Rabbi Yisrael Zichman, said that the office has been at the forefront of employing the wives of the avrechim for many years, and thanks to it, many avrechim can sit and study the Torah without worrying about earning a living.
The rabbi of the city, Rabbi Yitzhak Luxenburg, and supervisor of the Ateret Yisrael Yeshiva, delivered a congratulatory speech in honor of the firm's management, and wished the employees and clients success and divine help.
Mayor Yaakov Guterman recalled the days when the firm entered the city, and said that following the firm, many other firms came to the city and began employing ultra-Orthodox women. "You have the right to be first," he said.
Deputy Minister of the Prime Minister's Office and Transportation Uri Maklev expressed admiration for the innovation and splendor of the offices, which were clearly established with deep thought about every detail of the needs of the working Haredi woman. He called on other employers to come and take as an example how to employ women of the Abrech community with respect at the highest levels.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture Moshe Aboutbol praised the ministry's management for being able to adapt services for the Haredi sector, and urged them to establish additional offices in other Haredi cities.
