Argentine authorities uncovered a huge collection of Nazi items from the Third Reich over the weekend. According to a report by Alex Nirenburg in 'Kan News', as part of the investigation, a Buenos Aires resident was arrested on suspicion of possessing dozens of items related to Adolf Hitler's years of rule in Germany. According to the authorities' announcement, about 60 weapons were seized from the man's home, 43 of which were decorated with the eagle symbol of Nazi Germany. Nazi flags, military uniforms, helmets, hats, and even statues of Hitler were also found in the collection. All of the items seized in the raid were confiscated by the authorities. According to the report, the person who passed information regarding the collection to the Argentine authorities was the Bosnian police - and now the authorities must decide what steps to take against the man who possessed the collection. Media reports on the affair emphasized that after World War II, many Nazi criminals fled to Argentina, fearing prosecution in Europe. Last year, Argentine police raided a bookstore that was selling books about Nazism online.
