• Sergeant Naor Haimov, 22, from Rosh Ha'ayin, a fighter in the Multidimensional Unit (888), fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

In the incident in which they fell, a combat officer in a multi-dimensional unit was seriously injured. The combat officer was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, and his family has been notified.

The incident occurred as part of the operation to surround the Jabaliya camp in the northern Gaza Strip. The Multidimensional Unit fighters entered a building to search it, when a powerful explosion occurred, leading to the deaths of the four fighters.

Multidimensional fighters have been operating in recent days alongside armored fighters from Brigade 401, as part of the operation in Jabalia, against Hamas' renewed consolidation in the area.

This brought the number of war casualties to 776.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "With deep sorrow and immense pain, my wife Sara and I send our heartfelt condolences to the families of the brave IDF fighters, the heroes of Israel who fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip:

Captain Yehonatan (Johnny) Keren, 22, from Moladat; Sergeant Nissim Meital, 20, from Hadera; Sergeant Aviv Gilboa, 21, from Manveh Tzuf; and Sergeant Naor Haimov, 22, from Rosh HaAyin – all fighters in the multi-dimensional unit (888), all young men with dreams and aspirations, loved by their friends, who appreciate their work.

The pain of the families is the pain of all of us, and we will not be able to fill the void they left in the hearts of their loved ones and the entire nation. We will honor their memory for their courage and fortitude, and we will promise to continue to preserve their love for the Land of Israel and its people.

May their memory be blessed and may they always be kept in our hearts.".
