In a precise strike by the Air Force and under the direction of the Intelligence Branch, fighter jets attacked and killed on Saturday evening the leader of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, Hassan Nasrallah, and Ali Karki, commander of the Southern Front - one of the senior commanders remaining in the organization before the attack.
With them, over 20 additional terrorists, of various ranks, who had gathered in the underground headquarters in Beirut, under a civilian building, were eliminated - and from there they managed, planned, led and commanded the fighting against the State of Israel.

The IDF notes that "Ibrahim Hussein Jazini and Samir Tawfiq Dib were among the people closest to Nasrallah. Due to their closeness to him, they constituted a significant source of knowledge regarding the ongoing functioning of the Hezbollah terrorist organization and Nasrallah in particular.".
The terrorists gathered in the heart of Beirut at the central headquarters of the terrorist organization Hezbollah, under civilian buildings and near UN schools.
