"The Patriots" host Yinon Magal threatened this evening (Monday) to sue his colleague Ben Caspit for defamation, after the latter shared a video on his Twitter account, in which it was claimed that Magal told the families of kidnapped people who met with him that there would be no deal "since the government will fall apart.".
Caspit wrote: "Yinon Magal admits today, in his own voice, in a conversation with Eli Elbag (the amazing one) on our radio, that he said that 'if there is a ceasefire, there will be no government.' A ceasefire will only be in a deal, right? Which would have been to prove it. It's lucky I abandoned the broadcast, I would probably have just been a nuisance, as usual.".
In response, Magal wrote to him: "Sweetheart, this won't help you, you echoed and didn't erase the lie that I supposedly said I opposed the deal because it would dismantle the government and therefore you will pay.".
The confrontation between the two began even earlier, when News 12 reporter Michal Pielan reported that Magal, along with other senior officials at Channel 14, including Yaakov Bardugo, met with the parents of the observers who asked to "speak their hearts out" and work for the government's support for the deal.
Caspit shared the report and Magal wrote in response: "Hey Benchok, this isn't the first fake you've been spreading, but this time if you don't delete this lie within 10 minutes I will sue you.".
He added: "I will deal with Poison 12 and the poison tank separately. In friendship.".
Hey Benchok
This isn't the first fake you've echoed, though.,
But this time if you don't delete this lie in 10 minutes I will sue you.
I will deal with Poison 12 and the poison tank separately.
