The lyrics to the anthem were written by Eli Klein and Itzi Berry, who also arranged and produced it, and the lyrics were written sometime during the first month of the war. Their expectation was, apparently, that by the time the song was released, the war would be over, a hope that was not quite fulfilled.
My son, who came to Israel several times to make the fighters and wounded happy, was looking for words and music with an encouraging vibe that could lift the mood in the Land of Israel, and also among the millions of Jews who are worried abroad.
