The IDF is publishing new footage this evening (Tuesday) from the moments of the rescue of abducted Farhan Qadi, a 52-year-old resident of Rahat, from captivity in the Gaza Strip.
In the footage, from the fighters' body cameras and the helicopter's view, the fighters are seen leading Farhan toward the IDF helicopter that landed in the Strip.
Additional details about the rescue operation indicate that the IDF located Farhan in the tunnel by "accident" and not in a pre-planned rescue operation.
The IDF noted that in preparation for the activity inside the tunnel, lessons were drawn from previous incidents involving encounters between forces and hostages.
