After unusual death threats against Netanyahu: Charges against 26-year-old Binyamina resident

Following an investigation by the Lahav 433 cyber unit: The prosecution unit filed an indictment this week against a Binyamina resident for murder threats he posted on the Telegram network against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The indictment was filed after the cyber unit at Lahav 433 opened an investigation into suspected murder threats that a suspect posted on the Telegram network against the prime minister.

An intensive investigation by cyber unit investigators identified the suspect, a 26-year-old resident of Binyamina - and he was arrested two weeks ago and brought for questioning at the unit's offices.

The suspect was brought to a hearing to extend his detention at the Rishon LeZion Magistrate's Court and was released under restrictive conditions, including house arrest.

This week, the prosecution unit at Lahav 433 filed an indictment against the suspect for making murder threats against Netanyahu.
