Zvika Mor, whose son Eitan was kidnapped by Hamas in Gaza, asked today (Monday), during a Knesset debate, to address a tweet by News 12 reporter Ilan Lukacs - who attacked him with harsh words and claimed that the father is sabotaging his son's release, since he opposes a surrender deal with Hamas.
""When it comes to me, there is no respect for the families of the kidnapped, because I come from a different background, I don't have the right background. I have all the shortcomings - both religious, also a settler, also right-wing, the father of a family with many children.".
He added: "I have compassion for him that he is capable of writing something like this. I do not wish for Ilan Lukacs to live the life I am living now.".

He told of the nightmares his children have at night as they think and dream about their brother's fate. "This is what we live with every day.".

Ilan Lukacs caused a stir on Twitter after attacking Zvika Mor. Lukacs shared a video on his personal account of the abductee Andrei Kozlov, who was released in 'Operation Arnon', calling on the public to come to the demonstrations in Kaplan - and wrote: "And now think about the abductee Eitan Mor, who was a security guard at 'Nova', who hears his father in the studios again and again opposing the deal - 'Don't release terrorists in exchange for him.' What goes through this boy's mind. And maybe sees Matan Tsengauker together with him, and how Matan's mother turns the world upside down for her child.".
The tweet caused a major stir online, and many users harshly attacked Lukacs.
