After almost a day: The chairman of the state camp, Minister Benny Gantz, also remembered to condemn today (Thursday), albeit in weak language, the seditious call by the new Labor Party chairman, former MK Yair Golan, not to serve in the reserves until the government changes.

Gantz said: "It is mandatory to report for regular and reserve service, the Chief of Staff is the highest command echelon of the army. One does not refuse an order, one does not refuse to report - and one acts solely according to orders. This is true for all parts of Israeli society. I call on my comrade-in-arms Yair Golan, and the entire leadership: Leave the IDF out of the controversy, no matter how deep it may be.".

Yair Golan responded to him: "Benny Gantz, the one who chose to provide a protective belt to Netanyahu, to sit in a nationalist, messianic and extremist government, which abandons the kidnapped, endangers the fighters, harms security, vacates homelands in the north and south, destroys the economy and seriously harms Israel's foreign relations - the one who gave a hand to all those who sat quietly! We will restore security and hope to Israel.".

Commentator Ariel Kahane of Israel Hayom wrote: "Within just three days of the Labor Party's stormy occupation, Yair Golan managed to be caught in a video calling for defiance, enter into a confrontation with Benny Gantz and the bereaved father, former minister Yizhar Shai, and snatch Gidon Saar by the head. As long as he is the future partner in a national government that purports to replace Netanyahu, his rule is guaranteed forever.".

Golan addressed the storm surrounding his call for rebellion this afternoon - and refused to apologize.

""In the last 24 hours, I have been attacked by Netanyahu and the Bibi poison machine and its proxies on Channel 14, on radio stations, on networks, and everywhere they inject their poison, incitement, and division," Golan wrote.

Golan clarified: "We are not afraid! We are not afraid of the poison machine, we are not afraid of the threats and incitement, we are not afraid of the unprofitable and illegal political use of the Ben Gvir police.".

""We will not allow the corrupt, extremists and irresponsible who are leading Israel into the abyss to continue to gamble with our blood. The days when an extremist minority terrorizes the moderate majority are over. The days when their extremist proxies shoot us in the back and engage in terrorist acts are over.

""We are more determined than ever to move forward, restore confidence and hope, put Israel back on track, strengthen democracy, restore solidarity, and rebuild what the government of destruction has destroyed.".

Last night, Channel 14 reported that Golan said at the conference: "Remember the letter from the reservists? The slightest threat of civil disobedience put Netanyahu under crazy pressure. Why don't we make much more extensive use of this?" Golan wondered to the participants.

When asked what he considered the concept of 'civil disobedience' to include, Golan replied: "It's, for example, not doing reservists until the government changes.".
