The IDF today (Sunday) released a video found in recent days - and filmed by Hamas terrorists - in which 8-year-old Ella Elyakim was recorded, a few days after she was kidnapped from her father's home in Kibbutz Nahal Oz, on the day of the Hamas attack on October 7.

""I'm Ella Elyakim and I'm 8 years old," Ella said. "I'm asking Bibi to free us, and I'm a prisoner of Hamas.".
Her 15-year-old sister Dafna was kidnapped along with her.
The two were released as part of the hostage deal - 51 days after they were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
In addition, a photo of Ella was published with her 15-year-old sister Dafna Elyakim, who was kidnapped with her.
Ella, 8, said that the video was filmed by Hamas terrorists several times from different angles, and that she was dressed in clothes that were not hers.
Her sister Dafna also testified that she was forced by the terrorists to film videos of her. The two were moved several times between hiding places in the Strip and were released in the first hostage deal.
The sisters' family approved the publication of the video.

IDF spokesman, Brigadier General Daniel Hegary, told foreign media about the documentary materials found by IDF forces in the Gaza Strip:
""During the maneuver in Gaza, IDF forces located footage filmed by Hamas terrorists as part of the psychological terror videos they are preparing. The footage was shown today to the family of Ella Elyakim, 8, and Dafna Elyakim, 15, who were kidnapped in Gaza on October 7, and released as part of the plan for the return of the kidnapped.".
The video, which was released for the first time today, was prepared to serve as a tool for the psychological terror that Hamas is trying to unleash. Nevertheless, Ella's family asked us to share the video with the world, to expose the terror, cruelty, and barbarity of Hamas terrorists.
8-year-old Ela Elyakim said that Hamas terrorists forced her to read the script, change her clothes, and film this horrific video over and over again.
Our hearts go out to Ella, her family, and all the families of the abductees. Help us honor Ella's family's request and share the video widely.
"We will continue to do everything in our power to bring all the kidnapped people home.".
