This evening (Sunday), with the beginning of Memorial Day for the Fallen in Israel's Armed Forces and Victims of Hostile Acts and shortly after the sirens sounded, the police received a report of Israeli flags being torn from vehicles in the Shabbat Square area in Jerusalem. Following this, police detectives who were on duty in the area at the time arrived at the scene and noticed a number of children setting fire to the State of Israel flags on the road. With the assistance and guidance of observers from the Jerusalem District Control Center, police detectives arrested a suspect who is suspected of leading and inciting those young children to commit the wrongful acts. The arrested suspect was transferred for questioning at the Lev Habira police station in the Jerusalem District.
