Media personality Judy Shalom Nir Mozes, wife of Minister Silvan Shalom - Minister of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water, and Minister of Negev and Galilee Development - commented on her Facebook page today (Wednesday) on the state budget approved by the government last night.

She says that the budget proposal included the cancellation of tax benefits for residents of the periphery, "the people who suffer the most when the security situation escalates, and we here in the center and in Jerusalem continue life as usual. The budget proposal talked about canceling critical tax benefits for residents of the periphery." According to her, "Sylvan fought like a lion, as someone who came from the periphery and is aware of the hardships and managed to kill the terrible decree.".

And where does the money come from? Well, "I have a great alternative to money," says the media woman: "Gale Tzahal.".

And she explains: The IDF receives 25 million shekels a year in the defense budget. Why? The Chief of Staff complains about a lack of budget, about an existential danger to the country, not enough training, no money for armored vehicles. I don't understand why I need to fund a radio station for the army? Even the Kol Yisrael fee was canceled.

""I have a lot of ideas for what to do with the money," she reveals. "The mayors of the Negev and Galilee have them too, they are desperate for budgets for the welfare of their residents. Just food for thought on the eve of the holiday." And a final word to her husband: "My husband is proud of you and I am moved every time by your sensitivity to the plight of others.".
