In honor of the 11th of Nisan, the birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, French Chabad singer Menachem Levi, who is currently working on producing an album of Chabad melodies, hosts Hasidic singer Avraham Fried for a thrilling duet - in which they perform the melody "Razit Ha'am" together.
The tune was composed in 1986 in honor of the Rebbe's 84th birthday, the 11th of Nisan, by the Hasidic musician Rabbi Shalom Brockstadt to the lyrics of Psalms, Chapter 55, the Rebbe's new chapter that year, as is customary in Chabad Hasidism.
Menachem Levy's joint performance with Avraham Fried is part of an extensive Chabad melody album, on which Menachem has been working in recent years, which will feature additional singers who will sing a duet with Menachem Levy.
