At a special conference held at the home of the head of the Mir Brachfeld Yeshiva, Rabbi Noam Alon, dozens of yeshiva graduates who intend to send their children to the yeshiva gathered.

However, the graduates presented the yeshiva's management with a demand: to accept into its ranks next year only students from the most important small yeshivahs in Jerusalem.

The goal of the graduates, according to the avrechim who attended the meeting, is to ensure the high level of the students studying at the yeshiva, both academically and spiritually.

""Our sons were privileged to study in excellent small yeshivots," said the graduates, "but we want them to absorb the unique qualities of the Mir Brachfeld Yeshiva, both from the skilled teaching team and from the teaching method of the Rosh Ha-Yeshiva.".

The supervisor, Rabbi Reuven Hekster, expressed support for the graduates' demand, but emphasized that the secret to the yeshiva's success, according to him, lies in the fear of God of the yeshiva's leaders.

""Therefore," said the supervisor, "an excellent young man should not be rejected just because of the yeshiva he came from.".

The head of the yeshiva, Rabbi Alon, agreed with the Mashgih's words and added that the secret to the special atmosphere in the yeshiva is the treatment of each student according to his achievements and his work in Torah alone. "We do not specifically emphasize the young men who come from important places, but also give room to excellent young men who came from a less privileged place.".

The event ended with an expression of gratitude from one of the graduates, who thanked the yeshiva leaders for the special connection with the yeshiva's graduates and the special atmosphere that prevails there.
