Game of chairs: Journalist Moshe Glasner is leaving Kol Hai Radio and will present the main edition of Kol Bramah Radio, replacing Avi Mimran, who left Kol Bramah and will present the main edition of Kol Hai.
Glasner, who serves as the spokesman for the Beitar Illit municipality, will begin broadcasting the main edition on the competing radio station immediately after the Sukkot holiday.
In recent years, Glasner has served as the political commentator for Kol Chai Radio, with commentator Goel Va'aknin working alongside him.
In addition, Glasner hosted the "Cabinet" program - a current affairs panel - on Thursdays on "Kol Hai.".
Avi Mimran, the broadcaster and program director of 'Kol Brama' radio, left the station a month ago, and will begin broadcasting the 'Main Edition' program of 'Kol Chai' immediately after Sukkot, which was previously presented by the program director, Bezalel Kahn.
At a farewell party, Mimran said loudly: ""I am not leaving Radio Kol Barama. I intend, God willing, to return, of course if they open the door for me. But a person follows his heart – and my heart remains here and will remain here.".
""What can I do? I also have to support my family, and I'm not an artist, nor a singer, nor a painter - I'm just a man who knows how to broadcast from behind a microphone. In order to support my family, I'm forced to do so in foreign fields.".
""I'm not going to compete with anyone. I'm going to broadcast two hours a day, no more than that.".
Moshe Glasner said: "I am proud to join the news and current affairs division of Radio Kol Barama. I see my selection as a great honor and a professional challenge of the highest order.
""I intend to lead the current affairs edition to professional summits and public agenda setting.
""I would like to thank the 'Kol Hai' radio station, which has been my warm home in recent years, the radio's CEO Avi Rosen, the program director, Bezalel Kahn, and the current affairs editor, Ms. Estee Peled, who have contributed greatly to my professional success.".
