The senior officials called on the terrorist organization to promote a ceasefire, and Hamas members responded: "Our situation is bad, there is a shortage of ammunition and the disintegration of the military frameworks.".

In addition, amid reports that Haya Sinwar had been cut off from contact, Arab officials reported that they had heard from Hamas' top brass that Sinwar was "suffering from pneumonia that has become complicated.".

Israel still believes that Sinwar is underground in the Khan Yunis area, and therefore the IDF is operating in this area.

Against the backdrop of a meeting in Egypt between Hamas leaders led by Ismail Haniyeh and Egyptian officials, Channel 12 reported this evening about "contacts for another summit in Paris.".

However, Israeli sources claimed that the terrorist organization was entrenching itself in its positions and that communication with Sinwar was "like crossing the Red Sea." Nevertheless, political sources assessed that the time component and the approach to Ramadan create an opportunity in negotiations.
