After a gathering of community rabbis at the residence of Rabbi Zilberstein, dozens of community rabbis in the city of Bnei Brak signed a special letter, in which the rabbis detailed to members of the city's communities the absolute obligation to vote only for the "Degel HaTorah" list marked "Degel".

The rabbis point out that this is the teaching of Maran HaGard Lando and that we are obligated to obey the Torah and declare "Moses is true and his Torah is true.".

In addition to everyone's personal obligation to vote, the rabbis note in their letter that everyone has the obligation to bring additional voters with them, and the rabbis of the communities should stand in churches and seminaries and encourage the public to vote and bring additional voters.

The full letter:

In preparation for the upcoming elections here in Bnei Brak, on the night of Thursday, Adar 1, the heads of the communities in the holy city of Bnei Brak gathered for an emergency meeting and an outcry in light of the fateful campaign that lies ahead.

Since many Torah bodies depend on these elections, the heads of the communities call on all members of their communities and

Their families, and repeat the simple things that our rabbis, the great sages of the generation, Zia and Bilhah, who gave their lives to establish the world of Torah in the United States on the path of the Torah, and their belief that voting in elections is not a privilege but an obligation, and that everyone and their family must vote exclusively for the Torah Flag list marked "Flag", without exception, and also add more voters to this list, because this is the will of the King of Kings, and it is the glory of Heaven and the declaration that Moses is true and his Torah is true.

It is simple, God forbid, to evade the duty of voting, and we are confident that all members of the holy communities will be honored to be sanctifiers of the name of God in their voting and action for the increase of voters for the Torah flag, and on election day to bring more and more people to participate and vote for the Torah flag list that marked 'flag' for raising the horn of Torah,

And this immense privilege of sanctification in the name of God will be available to all, who will be granted great success in their studies, and will be granted great satisfaction from sanctification from all their descendants throughout good days and years, and a good and happy life.

We call on all the rabbis of the communities in every location to speak on this coming Shabbat and in the remaining days, regarding this great privilege and duty. As the Rabbi of Israel, Maran HaGarden Lando Shlita, wrote in his letter to the conference, by voting in these elections in Bnei Brak for the "Torah Flag", all existence and preservation of Torah and Judaism in our city, and in preserving the character of the city of Bnei Brak, is based.

And the Creator of the world, in His mercy, chooses His people Israel to proclaim His greatness and the splendor of His glory. He hears prayer, protect and save this year from all evil and all kinds of calamities, and grant it hope and a peaceful end - arise with the help of Israel and redeem Judah and Israel, as you have spoken.
