The funeral of Jonathan Luber, who fell in the Gaza Strip, will be held today (Wednesday) at 10:30 AM at the Mount Herzl Cemetery in Jerusalem. His father, Hagai Luber, invites the entire Jewish people to his son's funeral: "Please come and accompany our son and brother Jonathan, ours, on his final journey.".
""Whoever can and has a free hour and does not disrupt their daily routine, let them come, it will strengthen us. Please come and accompany Jonathan with us, in unity in honor of Jonathan and in honor of all the fallen." Jonathan the 14th left behind a wife, a baby, parents and eight siblings.
Upon receiving the difficult news of his son's fall, Luber wrote, "On behalf of the entire Jewish people, we are proud of him and thank him for being a partner in eradicating evil in the world and in destroying our enemies. Our hearts are not for the Holy One, blessed be He. Our hearts are not for the government of Israel. Our hearts are not for the IDF and the decisions of its commanders in the field.".
""We embrace the entire people of Israel and ask the media and everyone in our people, please, one day of unity for the upliftment of his soul. Please do not write or broadcast anything controversial. Please, speak well. Highlight the good in the decision-makers and in our wonderful people that Jonathan was proud to fight for. Please, one day of unity and good words. Jonathan will be so happy in heaven.".
