Poll: Only 161% of coalition supporters trust the reasonableness of High Court judges

A survey by the Direct Polls polling institute, published this evening (Thursday) in the main edition of Channel 14, shows that a narrow majority of the public trusts the decision that will ultimately be made by the large panel of judges in the High Court of Justice. Don't be pushed: Where do you stand at the 'Denkel' stations when waiting for the train? על השאלה "האם בעקבות הדיון המצולם בבג"ץ על חוק יסוד עילת הסבירות אתם סומכים על ההחלטה שיקבלו שופטי העליון" - התקבלו תוצאות מפתיעות: 52% מהנשאלים השיבו כי הם סומכים על החלטת השופטים, לעומת 41% שלא סומכים על ההחלטה. בקרב תומכי הקואליציה רק 16% סומכים על ההחלטה, לעומת רוב מוחץ של 86% מתומכי האופוזיציה. תמונת המנדטים משתנה באופן מזערי לעומת הסקר הקודם: מפלגת הליכוד מאבדת מנדט ועומדת על 30 מנדטים אילו הבחירות היו נערכות היום. המחנה הממלכתי עם 28 מנדטים, יש עתיד עם 15 מנדטים, ש"ס עם 10, יהדות התורה 7 וכך גם ישראל ביתנו. עוצמה יהודית ורע"מ עם 5 מנדטים כל אחת, מר"צ וחד"ש תע"ל עם 4 מנדטים וכך גם הציונות הדתית. בשאלת ההתאמה לראשות הממשלה, נתניהו מוביל בפער גדול על לפיד עם 43% לעומת 31%. בקרב מול גנץ, נתניהו נותר עם 43%, אחוז יותר מיו"ר המחנה הממלכתי שמקבל 42%. The sample was conducted by Shlomo Filber and Zuriel Sharon through Direct Polls Ltd. for News Now 14 on September 14, 2023, using a digital system combined with a panel, among 683 adult samplers (18+) who constitute a representative sample of the general population in Israel. The statistical sampling error is ±4.2% with a probability of 95%.
