Disasters 'between times' 5883: The young man Yishai Keinan, 18 years old, a student at the 'Tiferet Levi' yeshiva in the city of Elad, drowned at noon (Tuesday) in the 'Ma'ale Hashahar' lake near Ma'ale Gamla in the Golan Heights.
Riddle: Which flavor of 'Milky' delicacy is the best-selling after 40 years?
His funeral will take place tonight in Jerusalem.
The deceased, z"l, was born on the 26th of Av 5765 to his father, Rabbi David Keinan, and his mother, Mrs. Yaffa, residents of Pisgat Ze'ev in Jerusalem.
In a small yeshiva, he studied at the Tiferet Levi yeshiva for young people in Jerusalem, and last year he moved to the larger Tiferet Levi yeshiva in Elad. His friends received the bitter news in shock.
The late Yishai went on a trip with his friend and the friend's father. His tragic death occurred two days after his 18th birthday.
The drama began in the afternoon, when the 102 hotline received a report about a young Haredi man who had entered the Ma'ale Hashahar lake - and his tracks had disappeared. Fire and rescue teams from the Galil Golan station and the Special Rescue Unit were rushed to the scene and began searching for him. A Lehba unit was also dispatched to the scene.
After two hours of searching, the divers located his body.
Ohad Ringer and Avi Elhayani, members of the United Hatzalah: "This is a young man about 18 years old who, according to passersby, drowned and is missing. Firefighter divers who participated in the search located his body and pulled it from the water. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene.".
MDA paramedic Eli Ben Simon and MDA emergency medical technician Amir Behish said: "When we arrived at the area near the lake, we were joined by several boys who told us that a young man who was in the water with them had drowned and they feared for his life. Divers from the firefighting special rescue unit who arrived at the scene entered the water and after searching, pulled the young man from the water, unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing.
""We performed medical tests, but he had no signs of life and we had no choice but to declare him dead. We once again call on the general public to bathe only in designated pools and beaches and during the operating hours of the rescue services.".

Haim Otmazgin, commander of ZAKA's special units, said: "In the afternoon, the ZAKA hotline received a request from the family and friends of a young boy to assist in searching for their friend, an 18-year-old boy who got into trouble and went missing while spending time at the reservoir.
""Volunteers from the ZAKA diver unit, who are on high alert during the intervening days, were called to assist the Israel Police and the Lehava unit in searching the reservoir. At the request of the forces operating in the area, a ZAKA sonar team designated for underwater detection missions was dispatched to the scene. The search was called off when the body of the missing person was located at the bottom of the lake by a team of divers from the KVD's 'Lehava' unit, who located and transported the missing person to the lake shore, where MDA teams determined he was dead.
""ZAKA volunteers from the North Team are treating the deceased with dignity at the scene. We share in the family's grief.""
